Our STEM Club officers started a project to keep our school clean. We call it "Oplan Kalinisan." In this project, we will work together with the ABM and HUMSS Clubs. Each group has a designated area to clean before going home in the afternoon. Our assigned area is the girls' comfort room, and we will make sure to keep it clean and tidy.
For others, cleaning may be just a part of life, but to us, it is one of the most enjoyable parts of the day! We always take time to clean the girls’ comfort room every afternoon. It is not only for the sake of cleanliness but also a way for us to help our fellow classmates and have fun together. We do this to ensure that the comfort room is clean and in good condition and, at the same time, increase the rating of our classroom.
Though it can be exhausting, it is still fun because we do it as a team. It is not a problem to feel tired. Laughter and playful teasing are still there even when we clean. We have so much fun that we don’t even realize it’s already time to go home! Besides having fun, we also practice discipline and responsibility. Our friendship with our classmates becomes stronger, and this usual activity becomes a great way to spend time and remember it.
